The main Thompson Duke Industrial website is a static brochure site. It does not set cookies that are necessary for the pages to display. The contact form posts to a server-side handler that processes the submission and redirects you back to the contact page; it does not store anything in your browser.
We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-RK8PYNVWNT) to understand which pages visitors find useful. When analytics is active, Google sets the following cookies in your browser:
_gaand_ga_RK8PYNVWNT— distinguish unique visitors and sessions (expire after up to 2 years)._gid— distinguishes visitors over a short window (expires after 24 hours).
These analytics cookies are not essential, and we ask for your consent before setting them depending on where you are:
- Visitors in Europe — analytics is off by default. No analytics cookies are set and Google Analytics runs in a cookieless state until you choose Accept on the consent banner shown at the bottom of the page. If you choose Decline, no analytics cookies are ever set. Your choice is remembered on your device so the banner appears only once.
- Visitors elsewhere — analytics is enabled by default. You can opt out at any time by blocking cookies in your browser (see Section 5) or by using Google's opt-out browser add-on.
We do not use advertising cookies on this domain, and IP addresses sent to Google Analytics are anonymized.

Our online store runs on WordPress and WooCommerce. It uses cookies that are essential for the store to function:
- Maintaining your shopping cart and session as you move between pages.
- Remembering whether you are signed in to a customer account.
- Processing checkout and payment.
The store may also set cookies from payment processors and shipping carriers when those services are invoked. These cookies are required to complete a purchase.
3. blog.thompsondukeindustrial.com
Our blog subdomain runs WordPress in a headless configuration; visiting that domain directly may set WordPress-default session cookies. We do not place advertising cookies there.
4. Third-party content
Some pages on the Site embed third-party content (for example, fonts loaded from Google Fonts). These third parties may set their own cookies under their own policies, which we do not control. Currently the Site uses:
- Google Fonts — typography for the Site is served from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. Google may log your IP address when fonts are requested. See Google's privacy policy for details.
5. Controlling cookies
You can control cookies through your browser. Most browsers let you:
- View cookies that have been set.
- Delete cookies, individually or in bulk.
- Block cookies from specific sites or all sites.
- Block third-party cookies.
If you block essential cookies on the store subdomain, parts of the checkout and account experience will not work. Blocking cookies on this brochure site has no effect because none are set.
